Château de Clotte 2024 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is juicy and delicious, quite ripe, with pleasant notes of tangy and quite ripe fruits (morello cherry, bigarreau cherry, raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant in the background, redcurrants), combined with a minty touch (fresh peppermint, fresh licorice stick, blackcurrant and rose leaf in the background which bring elegance, not a green side). We also smell nutmeg, a hint of tangy dark chocolate and blueberry. The palate has a fruity attack (on the flavors of red cherry, raspberry, tangy strawberry, redcurrants), completed in the mid-palate by notes of fresh peppermint, licorice stick and nutmeg, as well as a limestone mineral frame quite expressive on the persistence.
