It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy raspberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of nutmeg, cardamom as well as hints of violet, fine hints of Sichuan pepper and fine hints of toasted. The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers juiciness, fleshiness, a certain gourmandize, concentration, a small side on the hold in the concentration/expression. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy wild cassis, small black berries, small notes of liquorice associated with touches of raspberry, cherry as well as hints of violet, camphor, liquorice and fine hints of cardamom/nutmeg. A good work on the bitter in the finish.
