Château de Ciffre 2022 – AOP Faugères

The first nose is intense, powerful with beautiful notes of black fruits such as blackberry as well as crushed black cherry. We also have a fresher, tangy touch with small touches of wild strawberries. The second nose is delicious with hints of vanilla as well as blackberry, cherry and always the small wild strawberry. There is also a discreet note of leather. The palate is fresh, fruity with a hint of fresh and compote black cherry, blackberry and notes of liquorice. The tannins are present but supple. The tasting is salivating with a sweet roundness brought by the fruit. The finish is pretty, long on black cherry.
