Château de Chantegrive 2024 – Graves

Château de Chantegrive 2024 – Graves

The nose is fruity, it offers fine concentration, a certain depth and gourmandise. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, violet and small notes of small, bright wild berries, associated with touches of Cubèbe pepper, floral hints, almost saffron in its floral side, as well as a fine hint of racy minerality and cocoa nibs. The palate is well-built, juicy, fruity, mineral, it offers a tangy frame, tension and a certain rightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/brilliant cassis and small notes of small bright wild red berries, combined with touches of black tea, bergamot, as well as fine hints of cubeb pepper and toasted. A discreet hint of varietal in the background. Good length. A wine offering freshness and a graphene side. The tannins offer a little chewiness.
