The nose is fruity, concentrated and aromatic. It reveals notes of blackberry jam and cassis associated with fine touches of liquorice, spice as well as a hint of flowers and a hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, gourmand and offers minerality and a nice tension (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of black cherry associated with touches of licorice and oak. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence with notes of toasted oak.
