The nose offers some power. The wine needs to be decanted. There are notes of cloves, blackberries and more slightly fresh leather, gray pepper associated with touches of strawberry as well as fine hints of grilled thyme and a very discreet hint of scrubland (almost herbs of Provence). The palate is fruity and offers freshness, some tension, fat, fine richness, roundness as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cherry, pulpy / juicy blackberry and more slightly nutmeg, tobacco, with fine hints of leather, thyme as well as a subtle hint of scrubland and caramelization (in the background). Good length.
