Château de Cassana 2024 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, fairly ripe strawberry and small notes of bigarreau cherry, associated with touches of violet, cola, as well as a fine hint of Madagascar pepper and toasted/vanilla. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, juicy and precise. It offers a certain mellowness and a lovely pulpy side in freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, cherry and small notes of small red berries, associated with touches of violet, tobacco, nutmeg, as well as a hint of cherry stone and lilac. Good length. A subtle hint of licorice. A wine offering sapidity, freshness, juiciness and gourmandise. The tannins are well-built and finely mellow.
