Château de Cartujac 2024 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is well-built and gourmand and offers fleshy fruit and a certain richness and purity of fruit. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, blackberry and small notes of small juicy blue fruits, associated with touches of cornflower, cardamom, toasted almond and a hint of vanilla. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh and balanced. It offers a mineral frame, good definition, precision, suppleness, acidity, straightness and a certain brilliance of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, juicy/pulpy cassis and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of blueberry, as well as hints of small tangy fruits, hints of herbal tea/infusion and a discreet hint of vanilla. Good length. Mellow, sapid tannins. A hint of sapidity on the finish/persistence. A wine offering sapidity, energy, sappiness and elegance.
