The nose is fruity, fresh and well-defined. There are notes of pulpy blackcurrant, fleshy blackberry and, to a lesser extent, crushed strawberry, combined with hints of plum, as well as fine peppery notes and discreet hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, juiciness, good definition, a certain gourmandise, crunchiness and pulpiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy blackcurrant, boysenberry and more slightly redcurrant combined with hints of red berries, blueberry as well as hints of chocolate and a subtle hint of blonde tobacco (in the background).
