The nose is flowery and offers a small intensity as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, rose, cornflower/lily and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of liquorice as well as a hint of Sichuan pepper, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, elegant and offers a good definition, a good freshness, precision, minerality as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, ripe/juicy blackberry and small notes of fresh flowers associated with a touch of small crunchy red fruits as well as very slight hints of hazelnut (in the background) and discreet hints of toasted/chocolate. Tannins are precise and structuring and offers a very discreet chew. Good length. There is a hint of salinity on the finish. The persistence is very slightly tight.
