The nose is fruity, crunchy and offers a slight freshness as well as concentration. It reveals notes of bulbs, blackberries and small berries associated with discreet touches of cassis bud, cassis as well as hints of minerality and subtle hints of Sichuan pepper. The mouth is tight, slight, a bit sleek and offers a beautiful freshness, density as well as fleshiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy berries and small notes of blackberry, crushed raspberry associated with slight touches of bulb / cassis bud and licorice. Tannins are fine and a bit dry.
