The nose is fruity, powerful, racy. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small black fruits, small notes of violet associated with small touches of wild strawberry, Sichuan pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, a fine tension and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe blackberry, fleshy cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of raspberry, small berries as well as a subtle hint of cornflower, spices and chocolate. Tannins are well-built and elegant.
