The nose is fruity, fresh and offers an explosive side, power as well as a nice fine texture. There are notes of fairly ripe blackcurrant, pulpy blackberry and more slightly dried small black fruits associated with touches of raspberry / crushed strawberry, with fine hints of cornflowers, lily, gray pepper as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and subtle hints of clove. The palate is fruity and offers a tangy structure, minerality, juiciness, good definition, roundness, good guideline / structure as well as a bright side of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy currants, juicy / ripe blackcurrant and more slightly bright blackberry associated with a touch of fresh / tangy purple fig, lilac, lily, toasted hazelnut as well as a hint cardamom and crushed almonds.
