The wine shows an intense ruby colour with a brightening rim. The nose is discreet and restrained. With aeration it opens up with nuances of crunchy red cherries, forest raspberries and strawberries, sweet spices, a hint of red currant in the echo. The palate is juicy and very fruity, with refreshing, succulent acidity and well-mannered, ripe tannins. Notes of red fruits on the palate interlace with nuances of black currant leaf and cassis. Fresh and elegant finish. Good persistence.
