The wine shows a medium ruby colour. The nose is slightly discreet and restrained, needs more air to open up. It opens up with nuances of red and black cherries, hint of raspberries and orange peel, a touch of forest bramble in the echo. The palate is juicy and concentrated, revealing intense nuances of cherry compote, red and black tea, a touch of crushed raspberries and a hint of pungent spices. The tannins are bold and sticky, balanced by refreshing acidity and intense fruit concentration. A genuine forest character. Long finish.
