Château de Braude 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and offers a fine power and some concentration. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, ripe berries and more slightly violet, lilac combined with fine touches of liquorice, tobacco, graphite and a subtle hint of incense and pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, balanced and offers a fresh/mineral structure, some juiciness and a fine crunch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackcurrant, fresh violet and more slightly fresh lilac combined with hints of fresh blackberry, fresh red berries, vanilla, nutmeg and fine toasted hazelnut in the background. A subtle varietal touch on the finish.
