The nose is aromatic, relatively powerful as well as relatively fruity. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and violet associated with slight notes of strawberry, red fruits as well as woody hints, hints of chocolate, graphite and spices. The palate is fruity, mineral (racy minerality), fresh, well-defined and offers an acid frame, fat as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and plum associated with hints of strawberry, redcurrant, slight notes of toasted oak, cardamom as well as a discreet hint of mocha and caramelization. Tannins are well-built and slightly dry.
