The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, violet and small notes of ripe small berries assoicated with a touch of ripe/juicy raspberry as well as fine hints of tonka bean, a very discreet hint of caramelization and a subtle hint of nutmeg/vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notesof ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of liquroce, small berries, subtle hints of cardamom as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg and very fine hints of cocoa on the finish. Tannins are well-built. An imperceptible hint of grilled/roasted on the persistence.
