The nose is fruity and offers a slight richness as well as a slight fleshy/gourmandise. It reveals notes of fresh cassis and fleshy/ripe strawberry associated with slight notes of toasted oak, chocolate as well as a hint of gray pepper and a very discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, slightly powerful and offers a slight fat, an acid frame as well as a slight gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh black cherry and slight notes of fresh cassis, fresh raspberry/red berries associated with hints of toasted oak, mocha as well as a discreet hint of sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a hint of coffee on the persistence.
