Château de Bensse 2016 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois 

The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine gourmandize as well as a very fine richness. It reveals notes of crushed Boysen berry, fleshy raspberry and more slightly toasted associated with touches of fresh/fleshy strawberry, graphite, racy minerality, hints of liquorice as well as discreet hints of flowers and spices. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a good definition, a racy minerality as well as a fine juicy/acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/fresh cherry, fleshy/fresh red berries and more slightly blackberry associated with fine touches of flowers, liquorice stick as well as a discreet hint of pepper. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
