The nose is aromatic, slightly powerful and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of fresh boysenberry, ripe cassis and a hint of fresh strawberry associated with hints of Sichuan pepper, violet as well as a very discreet hint of caramelized oak, minerality and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a slight freshness, minerality, a slight tension as well as fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, ripe/juicy cassis and slight notes of red berries/fresh raspberry associated with hints of caramelized oak and chocolate. Tannins are a bit firm. Good length.
