The nose is aromatic, powerful and offers intensity as well as a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of dry clementine, caramelized mandarine, small notes of dry yuzu associated with small touches of apple, lychee, lemon flowers, a hint of dry pink grapefruit, cedrat, cedar, fine hints of rancio and a discreet hint of cigar. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an aerial side, a very beautiful balance, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as gourmandize, juiciness, an acidulous frame and a fine suavity. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of caramelized peach, dry lemon, small notes of crystallized mandarine associated with touches of Pomme d’Amour, lychee, dry citrus, lemon flowers as well as a hint of dry pink grapefruit, rancio, tobacco, pâtisserie, a subtle hint of grilled hazelnut, caramel and coffee (in the background). Good length.
