The nose is aromatic and offers gourmandise. It reveals notes of blackberry, black berries and slight hints of griotte associated with a hint of plum, ripe strawberry as well as slight hints of bell pepper, flowers, spices/mocha, woody hints and a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, gourmand, juicy/sweet, round and offers a beautiful suavity, a slight mineral frame as well as a good structure. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, plum and slight notes of blackberry associated with hints of black small berries as well as slight notes of red cherry, raspberry, cacao/tonka bean as well as slight woody hints, roasting and a subtle/very discreet hint of vanilla in the background. Tannins are fine and very slightly chewy. Good length. An easy-drinking wine.
