Château Dauzac 2017 – Margaux, Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, deepness and harmony. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of strawberry, caramelization associated with fine hints of cardamom, sweet spices, violet/lilas as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla, tea and nutmeg. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a good definition, suavity, a fine unctuosity, a fine acidulous frame as well as tension. On the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy wild strawberry and small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with fine touches of juicy blueberry, violet/lily as well as hints of vanilla, toasted, cardamom as well as very discreet hints of vanilla, nutmeg (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are precise, elegant and racy. Good length.
