The nose is elegant, spicy, fine and offers a well-built power, juiciness as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of juicy raspberry associated with touches of wild strawberry, plum as well as toasted hints, chocolate and discreet hints of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, fresh and offers an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, juicy/fleshy blackberry and small notes of raspberry associated with a touch of cherry, juicy plum as well as fine hints of caramelization, cardamom, toasted/tonka bean and a subtle hint of sugar mild tobacco/sweet spices. Tannins are elegant and beautifully defined. Good length.
