The nose offers spices as well as a certain power. The wine benefits from decanting. We find notes of boysenberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly of spices, associated with an almost smoky and tobacco touch. The palate offers fruit, minerality, a fresh frame, fatness and a little fluidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, small red berries and more lightly, iris/lilac, associated with touches of cardamom, camphor, tobacco, as well as fine hints of spices and a hint of sappy in the background. A very discreet hint of almost toast and wild fennel.
