It expresses aromas of juicy morello cherry, red plum, crushed strawberry, black plum, amarena cherry in the background, as well as a hint of blackcurrant and blackberry. We also find a touch of torrefaction (toasted hazelnut with a hint of caramel), dark chocolate, sweet spices (vanilla, licorice, cinnamon in the background), a sweet hint of raspberry jam, as well as the freshness of mint pepper and peony. On the palate, the wine is supple, enveloping and juicy, with a fine volume and soft tannins. The flavors are gourmand and fruity: we find notes of ripe wild strawberry, black plum, red plum, raspberry coulis and crushed blackcurrant, combined with notes of mint chocolate, liquorice, vanilla and clove, as well as a touch of peony. Beautiful persistence with notes of chocolate cherry and a powdery hint of cocoa. A wine with roundness and structure, all in balance and freshness.
