The nose is fruity and shows elegance and silkiness. There are notes of boysenberry, bright/very ripe blackcurrant and more slightly morello cherry combined with hints of violet, lily as well as fine hints of fairly ripe strawberry and spice. The palate is fruity, elegant and reveals a nice definition, precision, gourmandize, a nice volume, a lot of finesse in its classicism, a certain concentration/power, a nice purity of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright black cherry, violet plum and, more slightly, morello cherry, combined with hints of strawberry, as well as hints of liquorice, almost saline minerality, a fine touch of toasted almond, lily, chocolate and caramelisation. Good length. The tannins are precise and racy.
