The nose is elegant, fruity, beautifully racy and offers a little minerality. We find notes of blueberry, brilliant red cherry and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of nutmeg, lily, racy gravel as well as a discreet hint of red pepper and zan. The palate is nicely mineral, fresh, elegant, nicely oily and offers a lovely texture, mellowness, gourmandise, a fine chiselled side as well as a discreetly powdery side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, creamy cassis and small notes of Gariguette strawberry, combined with touches of racy minerality, graphene, toastiness, toasted hazelnut as well as fine hints of vanilla. Chalky, elegant tannins. Good length. Nicely sapidity and gourmandise. A fine hint of austerity on the finish/persistence.
