On the nose, fruity, elegant and offers concentration (in delicacy/fine), potency (in finesse) and depth. It reveals the notes of bright boysenberry, bright cassis and more slightly cornflower, blueberry, licorice associated with fine points of fresh gravel, discrete points of tea, graphite and cardamom. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers a nice definition, gourmandize, a tangy frame, a discreet tight side, a stretched/full length side as well as a fine tension, aromatic purity and a nice gravel character. On the palate, expressing juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy/fresh blackberry and more lightly bright cherry notes combined with hints of small red berries as well as violet, cherry blossom, fine points of racy minerality, chocolate, toast and discrete caramelization. Good persistence. The tannins are precise, racy and finely packed. A subtle hint of roast and cocoa bitterness (nice bitter work) on the finish/persistence.
