The nose is fresh, concentrated and offers power. It reveals notes of ripe redcurrant, crunchy wild strawberry and slight notes of blackberry, cassis associated with touches of Zan, liquorice, mint as well as slight / discreet hints of flowers, cardamom, mocha and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, elegant and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, fat as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry, fresh raspberry and slight notes of redcurrant combined with slight touches of fleshy blueberry, fleshy / juicy cherry, tonka bean, chocolate, toasted / caramelized oak as well as slight touches of coffee on the finish / persistence. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length. There is an imperceptible touch of minerality almost saline (terroir) on the finish.
