The nose is aromatic and offers a small richness as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly toasted associated with fine hints of juicy/crunchy red berries, flowers as well as a discreet hint of liquorice stick. The palate is juicy, fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers tension as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy red cherry, juicy/fleshy small red berries and more slightly cassis associated with discreet hints of flowers, liquorice and chocolate on the finish. Tannins are discreetly firm. Good persistence.
