The nose reveals notes of incense, toast and more slightly wild blackcurrant, blackberry combined with hints of violet, lily as well as a fine touch of pepper and fine hints of sweet tobacco. The palate is fresh, mineral, tightly wound and has a slight uprightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy raspberry, crunchy redcurrant and more slightly black plum combined with nuances of crunchy blackcurrant as well as hints of cardamom, a hint of toast and a subtle hint of positive bitterness (in the background). The tannins are precise, sapid and well-managed.
