Château d’Arche 2024 – Sauternes, Cru Classé

Château d’Arche 2024 – Sauternes, Cru Classé

The nose is fresh, airy, it offers lovely depth and intensity of fruit, good definition, energy and a fresh, taut side. It reveals notes of fresh quince, sweet lime and small notes of dried zest, associated with fine touches of verbena, a hint of small juicy fruits, as well as discreet hints of nutmeg. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, it offers energy, roundness and a nice little fatness. There’s also a spherical side to the wine and a lovely little unctuosity in freshness and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy apple, crushed quenette and small notes of candied lychee, combined with touches of sweet mandarin, as well as fine hints of passion fruit. Good length. A subtle, almost tannic/clove-like hint on the finish/persistence. A tangy wine to look for.
