Château d’Arche 2020 – Graves

The nose is fruity, racy, structured and offers a good definition, a fine power. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, fleshy blackberry, small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with touches of small fruits, iris, lily, liquorice as well as discreet hints of citrus/orange and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, finely tight and offers juiciness, suavity, a small freshness, tension, energy and a n acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, juicy/acidulous Boysen berry, small notes of small red berries associated with touches of cherry, violet as well as fine hints of cherry blossom, sweet spices, nutmeg, a subtle hint of orange, chocolate and chocolate. Tannins are precise and finely firm. Good length. A subtle saline hint in the finish/persistence.
