The aromatic nose offers a lovely juicy and tangy concentration in its aromas of morello cherry, red cherry, red currant, fragrant strawberry and raspberry. It also expresses a slightly roasted herbaceous touch (roasted bouquet garni, dried mint, flowers (violet, peony), toasted (fresh and toasted wood, with a sappy hint, toasted hazelnut), spicy notes (liquorice, nutmeg), as well as fresh coffee in the background and cocoa nibs. The palate is juicy, fluid (in a good way), enveloping, with a good bitterness of cranberries and wild cherry. It expresses the gourmet fruity flavors (morello cherry, red cherry, red currants, strawberry, ripe raspberry), associated with a toasted and spicy notes (coffee, liquorice, nutmeg, toasted hazelnut). Good persistence on the tangy fruits and a good bitterness with a floral touch. The tannins are finely tight, solid, rather fine.
