The nose offers controlled power as well as a spicy side. There are notes of small yellow fruits, local garrigue and small notes spices associated with touches of iodine as well as a discreet hint of almost garrigue/local aromatic herbs and peach blossoms. The palate is nicely fruity and offers a nice pulpiness/brightness of the fruit, brightness, a certain gourmandise, a tangy structure as well as a certain energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy yellow apple, juicy/pulpy mirabelle plum and small notes of quince associated with touches of physalis, fine almost buttery/toasted hints (in the background), fresh tobacco and a subtle hint of fresh rosemary in the background. Good length. Good work on the good bitterness, especially on the persistence.
