On the nose, fruity, fresh and offers a nice finesse of grain (limestone), depth, finesse, a certain small richness as well as a small floral side (violet, peony). There are notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bright blueberry and more lightly raspberry associated with small touches of lilac, lily as well as fine points of grey pea, rose and a subtle hint of spices. The palate is fruity and offers a tangy frame, a nice definition, precision, gourmandize, a nice power (with excellence/ in finesse), tension as well as a little compact side (in finesse). On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blueberry, fresh redcurrants and more lightly lily associated with touches of lilac, bright cassis, bright raspberry as well as fine points of licorice, toast, cardamom and a subtle hint of chocolate. The tannins are precise, elegant and fresh. Good length. Nice little chew, sapidity and a touch of good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
