The nose is fruity, elegant and offers fleshiness, a fine gourmandize, a very beautiful quality of the fruit, a certain aromatic purity and a very fine richness. It reveals notes of bright cassis, bright black plum, small notes of liquorice associated with touches of cornflower, small blue fruits as well as fine hints of sweet spices and a very discreet hint of mild tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, racy and offers minerality, juiciness, a beautiful gourmandize as well as a very beautiful definition of the fruit and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright blueberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with a touch of bright blue plum as well as very fine hints of liquorice, lilac, a racy minerality and a subtle hint of mild tobacco leaf. A very beautiful wine, one of the best vintage of Anguilhe. Tannins are very finely firm.
