The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a certain concentration, power and intensity. There are notes of blackcurrant, blueberry and, to a lesser extent, bright dark berries, combined with hints of cherry, camphor, as well as subtle hints of violet, zan and graphite. The palate is fruity, taut, long and a little tight, revealing concentration, minerality and tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, blackcurrant and, more lightly, small, fairly ripe red berries, combined with hints of violet, as well as fine graphite, iodine minerality, a subtle hint of terracotta, and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Good length. The tannins are precise and relatively powerful.
