The nose is fruity, well-built and offers gourmandize, a very fine richness and a fine racy minerality. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry, small notes of violet, crunchy violet raspberry associated with touches of cherry/griotte, fine hints of zan, hints of fresh tobacco, toasted, cocoa and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, tension, a racy minerality as well as a fine juiciness and a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, wild raspberry, small notes of violet associated with fine touches of juicy/crunchy griotte, small fresh/juicy fruit as well as subtle hints of liquorice, tobacco leaf and cocoa. Tannins are well-built.
