The wine has a deep, almost black color. The nose is concentrated, but closed. It expresses notes of black fruits (morello cherry, black plum, blackcurrant, crushed blackberry), with a hint of wild strawberry, some smokiness, a hint of toasted almond, toasted wood, black pepper, liquorice, nutmeg, coffee, cocoa, a fine mineral frame, peony and violet. The palate is enveloping, juicy, with fruity flavors (morello cherry, black plum, blackcurrant, blackberry), as well as a toasted, smoky, coffee and chocolate hint, with spices in the mid-palate. The tannins are tight, with chew, beautiful acidity. Concentrated freshness.
