Château Croque Michotte 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of vanilla associated with small touches of ripe strawberry, fine hints of violet as well as very fine hints of toasted and a very discreet hint of sweet spices (in the background). The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, finesse as well as an acidulous/fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy cassis, fresh/juicy raspberry and small notes of fresh/juicy blueberry associated with fine touches of vanilla, toasted hazelnut as well as very fine hints of toasted oak and a very discreet hint of grilled bread (in the background). Good length.
