Château Croizet-Bages 2023 – Pauillac, Cru Classé

Château Croizet-Bages 2023 – Pauillac, Cru Classé

An aromatic, fruity, floral, tense, precise nose. It expresses notes of violet, liquorice stick and more slightly – concentrated blackberry associated with touches of crushed strawberry as well as fine hints of toasted, almond as well as discreet hints of tobacco and vanilla pod. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh and offers a lovely purity and delicacy of the fruit, density in accuracy, mastery, a quiet strength, contained power. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, small bright red berries and more slightly – blueberry associated with touches of nutmeg as well as fine hints of nutmeg, small red fruits/roasted-juicy cherry and blueberry. The tannins are soft, precise and delicious, finely chalky. Soft and delicious on the finish/persistence.
