The nose is racy, well conducted and reveals racy power/elegance, a certain density and concentration. There are notes of bright wild blackcurrant, cherry and more slightly fleshy strawberry combined with hints of violet, lily, star anise and fine tonka bean. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, minerality, density, precision, some linearity, finesse in its straightness, a nice guideline, a velvety touch. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, fleshy/juicy Morello cherry and more lightly violet notes combined with touches of racy minerality, fresh raspberry as well as hints of fresh blond tobacco, a subtle floral/fresh floral touch, a discreet hint of sappy and liquorice. Good length. The tannins are racy, finely mellow and powdery.
