Château Croix du Trale 2015 – Haut-Médoc – Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity, slightly powerful and offers a slight intensity and a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and slight hints of liquorice, blueberry associated with a subtle hint of toasted oak, sweet spices, cardamom and a discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a slight straightness as well as a silky and gourmande matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, blackberry and slight notes of red berries, raspberry associated with subtle toasted touches, sweet spices and a hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
