The nose is floral and offers some spices. There are notes of pistil, iris and slight notes of violet associated with touches of blackberry, star anise and a hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity with tension and a slightly tight tannic structure. There is minerality and notes of cherries, crunchy raspberries and slight notes of iris associated with rooty touches as well as fine hints of fresh violets, nutmeg and a sappy hint. Good length.
