Château Croix Cardinale 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers pulpy-freshness and a certain richness in balance. It expresses notes of violet, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant and more slightly – bright strawberry, associated with touches of small pulpy wild fruits, lily, fresh spices as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and fresh cloves. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, a tangy/mineral frame, good definition, suppleness, deliciousness, energy as well as harmony. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, pulpy/juicy raspberry and small notes of cornflower associated with a touch of bright blackcurrant as well as hints of toasted, cardamom and sweet spices. The tannins are distinguished and finely soft.
