On the nose, fruity, offers some potency, fine/tight berry fruit and a fine freshness. Notes of pulpy wild blackcurrant, fleshy blackberry and more lightly of small red berries, wild strawberry combined with fine touches of racy minerality/warm iodine and a discreet touch of nutmeg and pepper. The palate is fruity, discreetly tight and offers juiciness, a certain greediness, suavity, a certain precision, tension, an airy side in the balances, power as well as a nice acidulous frame. On the palate, expressing notes of pulpy/juicy currant, juicy/acidic wild strawberry and, more lightly, bright blackcurrant associated with touches of violet, blackberry as well as fine tonka bean, almond and discreet iodine hints. Good length. The tannins are precise, distinguished and offer a nice texture.
