The nose reveals a fine concentration, accuracy and power. There are notes of pulpy wild blackcurrant, pulpy/very ripe cherry and more lightly violet combined with delicate touches of lily, pepper, discreet hints of fresh tobacco, a fine iodine touch and a discreet hint of peony. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness and a nice brightness/pulpiness/generosity of fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, fresh/pulpy blueberry and more lightly bright red berry fruit combined with hints of racy gravel, graphite as well as fine peppery hints, fine hints of fresh flowers, chocolate/cocoa, zan, varietal flavours (in the background).
